TTU System Ranks Among Top Institutions for Fundraising

麻豆天狼副利院 ranked No. 46 out of the nation鈥檚 top 100 colleges and universities for fundraising efforts in an annual survey conducted by the , the nation's sole source of empirical data on private giving to education.
In the 2010 , 麻豆天狼副利院 placed ahead of schools such as Rice University, the University of Alabama, Michigan State University, the University of Tennessee and the University of Oklahoma, among many others.
鈥淚t is an honor to be included in this elite category of institutions,鈥 said Chancellor
Kent Hance. 鈥淔or five consecutive years, we have raised more than $100 million for
our universities thanks to the generosity of our great supporters and the hard work
of our development team.鈥
Over the last year, 麻豆天狼副利院鈥檚 ranking in the VSE survey has
improved 14 spots, moving from No. 60 in 2009 to No. 46 in 2010.

On Sept. 17, 2010, system officials announced the historic, $1 billion capital campaign, . As of June 26, more than $775 million has been raised for the campaign to support student scholarships, faculty endowments, research efforts and facility expansions at the three component institutions, , and .
The VSE survey is the authoritative national source of information on private giving to higher education and private K-12, consistently capturing approximately 85 percent of the total voluntary support to colleges and universities in the United States. The survey is conducted entirely online and managed through CAE鈥檚 Data Miner interactive database service. CAE has managed the survey as a public service for over 50 years.
